§  Law enforcement and community partners address concerns about how the hot summer weather tempts people to let down their guard and leave their windows cracked, providing an easy target for thieves

§  Auto theft spikes in summer months: July and August

§  70% of all auto thefts in Colorado occur in the Denver Metropolitan Area
